3. The day of your hot air balloon flight

Meeting place

Passengers come to the meeting place, park and pack their things. It is best to arrive at least 5 minutes before the meeting time.

We will come pick you up in our own vehicles and take you to one of the launch fields.

Please leave extra time to ensure you are not late, because delays compromise the safety and duration of the flight.
If there is a problem, please contact us on the emergency number.

At the launch field

The launch site is chosen based on flight conditions and wind direction.

We will hold a briefing on safety issues, and we ask that you pay close attention.

You will be asked to help set up the balloon so you can see what it is made of and how it works.
During the inflation phase, you will get ready for the flight (place bags and personal items in vehicles).
The inflation doesn’t take long, and we will need you to get in the basket quickly, as soon as the balloon straightens up.

Before take-off, we will do a short drill to make sure you understand the safety instructions.

And we’re off for one or two hours of hot air ballooning

Allow about 5 hours until you return to the meeting place
